About the Role ML Talent Partners Ltd is seeking a proactive and experienced Finance Manager to join our growing business. This is a newly created, stand-alone role offering autonomy and the opportunity to shape the finance function as the company develops.

Key Responsibilities Day-to-day duties will include:

• Daily reconciliation – Xero & Aldermore
• Debt chasing and managing overdue invoices (60+ days), initiating legal action where required
• Raising PBL invoices
• Preparing intermediary payment reports for HMRC
• Completing CIS returns (monthly)
• Paying suppliers and issuing monthly client statements
• Producing P&L and balance sheets (monthly)
• Managing invoicing (weekly)
• Running weekly payroll for temporary staff and monthly payroll for Ivy staff (including payslips)
• Preparing Aldermore monthly returns and reports
• Submitting VAT returns (quarterly)
• Handling personal tax returns (for Directors)
• Preparing for year-end accounts
• Uploading receipts via Hubdoc
• Producing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports

Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who is:

• Qualified by experience or AAT certified
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly organised with a can-do attitude
• Comfortable working independently in a stand-alone role
• Motivated by the opportunity to shape and grow the finance function in a developing business
